Patients and employees affected by a nationwide cyberattack
A staggering 1,008,519 Connecticut residents have had their personal information compromised in a major healthcare data breach affecting the Community Health Center. Attorney General William Tong confirmed that over 575,000 patients had all their personal health data exposed, while another 571,000 had limited information compromised.
Those affected will be notified and offered 24 months of free credit monitoring. This breach is part of a larger national cybersecurity issue impacting over 1 million people.
