Although this system was discovered in the 1990’s, farmers and scientists at Mood were among the first to figure out how to tap into it with cannabis gummies. Just 1 of their rapid onset THC gummies can get you feeling right within 5 minutes!

TODAY IN CONNECTICUT HISTORY

The British Attack Danbury – April 25, 1777

On this day in 1777, during the height of the Revolutionary War, British troops landed at the mouth of the Saugatuck River in what would become one of the most significant raids in Connecticut’s wartime history.

Acting under orders from General William Howe, Major General William Tryon led a force of roughly 1,800 British soldiers inland with a clear mission: destroy the Continental Army’s supply depot in Danbury.

Over the course of their march, Tryon’s troops encountered minimal resistance. When they reached Danbury on April 26, they torched twenty homes along with critical storehouses and barns packed with supplies for the patriot cause.

The raid sparked outrage across the colonies and helped galvanize Connecticut’s militia. Although the British succeeded in their goal, their actions also reinforced local resolve, setting the stage for future patriot victories.
