FRIDAY EVENTS

HAVE YOU SEEN THIS YET?

Three days of tacos, BBQ, desserts, live music, and fireworks? Yeah, we’re listening.

The CT Food Truck Battles Festival is rolling into Wolcott May 15–17, and it sounds like an absolute dream for anyone whose personality is basically “thinking about their next meal.” The three-day event features more than 50 food trucks serving everything from gourmet burgers and smoked BBQ to sweet treats and festival favorites, plus live entertainment, eating contests, and fireworks.

Tickets start at just $7 through Groupon, with options for general admission, covered seating, and VIP access on Saturday. Guests can spend the weekend tasting food from across the region while voting for their favorite trucks to help crown the festival champion. It’s family-friendly, packed with entertainment, and honestly feels like the perfect excuse to spend an entire day outside eating things you absolutely did not need but fully deserve.

Thanks!

That’s a wrap for today! Whether you’re planning ahead or just looking for something fun nearby, we hope this gave you a few ideas for the days ahead. Thanks for being here with us.
