Meriden’s beloved Daffodil Festival is back this weekend at Hubbard Park, celebrating its 45th year. The two-day event is packed with family fun, including carnival rides, live music across three stages, and the long-awaited return of Saturday night fireworks. Thousands of blooming daffodils add the perfect spring backdrop.

TheaterWorks Hartford is currently staging Primary Trust, a Pulitzer Prize-winning play by Eboni Booth. The story follows Kenneth, a bookstore employee forced to rebuild his life after being laid off, in a heartfelt tale of growth, friendship, and rediscovery.

Performances run through May 11 at the downtown Hartford theater. Tickets range from $25 to $70, with multiple showtimes throughout the week.

6. 🐸 Frog Frolic Festival Returns to Redding This Saturday

A cherished Redding tradition is back! The Frog Frolic Festival hits the Redding Community Center on May 3, bringing food trucks, games, crafts, and music to support the Mark Twain Library.
