Most gutter guards promise the world but still leave you climbing ladders to clear debris.
LeafGuard takes a completely different approachāinstead of adding another layer to your existing gutters, they replace your entire system with a one-piece design that's engineered so debris never gets inside.
The science is pretty straightforward: water follows the curved hood into the gutter using liquid adhesion, while leaves, pine needles, and debris roll right off. No joints mean no leaks, and the aluminum is 20% thicker than standard gutters. With over 650,000 ladder-related injuries happening annually, eliminating gutter maintenance isn't just convenientāit's smart.
Connecticut Lifestyles readers can take advantage of 75% off installation plus an additional $200 off. That's significant savings on a system backed by a lifetime no-clog guarantee and 25+ years of proven performance.

THIS MONTH IN CONNECTICUT HISTORY
The Flood We Forgot: Connecticutās Second Disaster of 1955
In the fall of 1955, Connecticut was still recovering from the devastation caused by back-to-back hurricanes Connie and Diane when another catastrophe struck. Just two months later, on October 15 and 16, heavy rains once again overwhelmed rivers and towns across the state ā submerging neighborhoods, destroying bridges, and leaving residents scrambling to protect what little remained.
Hartford, already battered from the August floods, faced rising waters a second time. Workers at the Stanley P. Rockwell Company rushed to fill sandbags along Homestead Avenue, while nearby Rice Heights housing project disappeared beneath the floodwaters. In Simsbury, barns collapsed, fields vanished under several feet of water, and bridges in West Granby were washed away.
While most remember the August storm as the āFlood of 1955,ā the October floods were a grim encore ā a reminder that natureās force can strike twice before recovery ever begins. It was one of Connecticutās darkest years, but also a defining test of the stateās strength and spirit.
