Starting in our 30s, some key cellular processes begin to slow down, making us feel tired and weak over time. This decline affects not just our physical strength and endurance, but significantly reduces our quality of life making everyday activities harder to enjoy.

Luckily, scientists have discovered a way to shape how we age. Mitopure®, by Timeline, targets the root cause of this cellular decline and is clinically proven to increase cellular energy, giving our bodies the energy they need to function optimally. The results? Double-digit increases in muscle strength without any change in exercise.

Take aging into your own hands.

THIS MONTH IN CONNECTICUT HISTORY

The Climax Fuse Company Tragedy

In September 1905, a routine task inside Avon’s Climax Fuse Company sparked one of the deadliest industrial accidents in Connecticut history. When an employee used a hot iron to clear debris from a reeling machine, a muffled explosion set off sheets of fire that consumed the wooden factory within moments.

The flames trapped dozens of workers inside. Some leapt from windows, while others were caught in the frantic rush to escape. Dr. E. W. Kellogg, who witnessed the disaster from across the street, described the harrowing scene as “the most awful sight” he had ever witnessed.

Out of the 65 people employed at the plant, nearly two-thirds were killed or left with severe, disfiguring injuries. Among the victims were members of the McCarthy family, Irish immigrants who had sent six of their children to work at the factory. Two brothers and a cousin perished, while others survived only by chance, thrown from the building by the force of the blast.

The Climax Fuse fire devastated families and left Avon reeling, a grim reminder of the human cost of Connecticut’s booming industrial age.
