🚗 CONNECTICUT’S PIZZA-THEMED LICENSE PLATES ARE SELLING FAST!

Demand is So High, the DMV Is Extending Orders

Connecticut’s love for pizza just got a new way to shine—on our license plates! The new “The Pizza State” plate, featuring a slice of pepperoni, launched last week and has already surpassed expectations, selling over 590 plates in just days.

Originally, orders were capped at 500, but due to overwhelming demand, the limit has been lifted so more Nutmeggers can get their hands on one. Vanity plate requests are rolling in too, with people customizing their plates with names like “PZZAGUY” and “CHEEZY.”

The best part? A portion of proceeds from the plates will benefit Connecticut Foodshare, helping fight food insecurity across the state.

DID YOU KNOW?

The Charter Oak, Connecticut’s state tree, wasn’t just a towering white oak—it played a pivotal role in the state’s history. In 1687, when the British sought to revoke Connecticut’s charter, the document was secretly hidden inside the tree to keep it out of the King’s hands. This bold act of defiance turned the Charter Oak into a lasting symbol of American independence and resilience.
