Spot the Eggs, Climb for the Candy, and Score a Sweet Treat
The Adventure Park at the Discovery Museum is taking Easter to new heights — literally. From April 11–20, kids and adults alike can join in on the Easter Egg Hunt in the Trees, where eggs are hidden among the treetop trails and zipline platforms.
Your climbing adventure doubles as a scavenger hunt, and all climbers who spot the hidden eggs will get a sweet surprise at the end. Events run daily with varying hours, so check the schedule before heading out. Ages 5 and up welcome!

Craft Beer Fundraiser at Space Cat Brewery Supports Sheffield Island Lighthouse
Raise a glass for a good cause tonight from 6 to 8 pm at Space Cat Brewery in Norwalk.

UCONN WINS NATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIP IN DOMINANT FASHION
Bueckers, Strong, and Fudd Power Huskies to 12th Title
The wait is over! UConn claimed its record 12th NCAA Women’s Basketball Championship on Sunday with a commanding win over South Carolina, 82–59.
While Paige Bueckers didn’t have her highest-scoring game, she led the Huskies with composure, capping her college career in true champion fashion. Azzi Fudd and freshman Sarah Strong each added 24 points, overwhelming the defending champs and ending South Carolina’s bid for back-to-back titles.

Garden Catering Coming to Darien and Shelton
Known for their legendary hand-cut chicken nuggets and potato cones, Garden Catering is expanding with two new locations in Darien and Shelton. The popular fast-casual chain will be opening at the Heights Crossing development in Darien and at 702 Bridgeport Ave in Shelton, bringing their signature comfort food and family-run charm to even more Connecticut communities.
Fresh Market to Open in Wethersfield This Month
The Fresh Market, ranked the nation’s top grocery chain by USA Today from 2021 to 2023, is opening its fourth Connecticut location on April 23 in Wethersfield. The store will be located at 1065 Silas Deane Highway in the former Bed, Bath & Beyond building and joins existing stores in Westport, Avon, and Guilford.
Sift Bake Shop and A.T.Y. Bar & Bonbons Opening at Mohegan Sun
Two new food and drink spots are opening at Mohegan Sun next week. Sift Bake Shop, a beloved French bakery by pastry chef Adam Young, and A.T.Y. Bar & Bonbons, a boutique cocktail bar serving hand-crafted drinks and sweets, will open near the Winter Entrance.
