Nobody will ever know you’re enjoying some THC.

BRUSH FIRE RISK REMAINS HIGH ACROSS CONNECTICUT

Several Fires Over the Weekend Highlight Continued Spring Danger

Connecticut remains at high risk for brush fires, with dry conditions and low humidity continuing to create dangerous fire weather across all eight counties.

Over the weekend, multiple fires broke out, including a 200-acre blaze in Haddam and others in Salem, East Lyme, and Warren.

The Department of Energy and Environmental Protection (DEEP) warns that burning permits are no longer valid within 100 feet of woodlands when fire danger is this high.

Spring fire season typically runs until mid-May, so caution is key — especially during dry, breezy days.
